About Me:
I was born in 1979 to a single mother with bi-polar disorder. Life was rough, I had no guidence. No one ever encouraged college or anything beyond high school. One day after waking up alone to two children, a hang over, and uncontrolable tears, I decided that things were going to change. I took a deep, close look at my life and from that point on I vowed to change the cycle of disfunction that I was born into.

It took me a few very hard lessons that stripped me of all of my pride and dignity but it was at the point that I was given the chance to rebuild/reinvent who I was, with a clean slate. I began to read. I began to see that there was so much more to life than what I knew.

My heart aches to show others that no matter what your circumstances, spirit can and does still provail. This is why I am here.

No matter who you are or where you are from I invite you to into my life so that we can build these bridges that so badly need to be errected. Any suggested wall is an injustice to the life we have been given.

I am appalled at the mere suggestion of a wall! Mexico needs our help America! These people work harder than any American I have ever known. Can't we see the action as a c…

Why I am here

I suppose you can call me an idealist. I'm 28 years old and I still have hope. Amazing! Most people seem to lose hope when the twenties begin. Life is tough and if your not resilient it will strip you of your hopes and dreams. I still believe in MLK's I Have a Dream speech.
